Help me please help me, is there a way to recover my files??? all of them were compressed to .zip files and also i see that .bart extensions were added. I have found a note recover.txt that suggested installing tor browser and visiting a website where i can buy Bart decryptor. should i pay??? what the hell has happened? why all these archives have a password?? i need to use some of my files right now!

First of all, you are right - your computer has been infected with Bart ransomware, a malicious computer virus that encodes all data and compresses it into individual zip archives. Unfortunately, we have to say that at the moment there is no way to recover your files because Bart appears to be a very complicated virus. Reportedly, it was developed by the same gang that created Locky ransomware.
This virus asks to pay a gigantic sum of money in exchange for a decryption software, and we believe that it is not worth it, considering that cyber criminals are not the people you can trust. They can easily take your money and leave all encrypted data for you without revealing the decryption key. If this happened, you would lose your data AND your money.
