I was tricked to open an infected email attachment, and I have Monument ransomware virus on the computer.. I guess, I should remove it, but I don’t have any clue how to do it. Besides, I am not sure whether virus removal will delete my files or not. I would like to keep and decrypt help. Any tips? Thanks in advance!

You should be more careful with emails. Do not rush opening attached files no matter how innocent and safe they might look like. However, now you should focus on virus Monument ransomware removal. Virus elimination does not delete your files. Sadly, it does not help to restore your files as well. The elimination procedure is held using antivirus programs or malware removal tools. These applications are designed to clean malware only. For data recovery, you need other tools. However, if you have data backups, you can use them and do not bother about additional recovery options. If not, we recommend trying these methods that might help to restore your files. Sadly, we cannot assure that all your files will be rescued. Hopefully, at least some of them will be saved, and malware researchers will soon present a decryption software.
