Hi, I have never heard about a virus called WinArcher, however, my antivirus detects it. I quarantined it, but not sure whether it should be on my computer system or not – I cannot find enough information about WinArcher online. What can you say about it?

WinArcher is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that is responsible for transmission of collected personally non-identifiable data between user's computer and adware servers. It means that it stores information about your browsing habits such as your search queries, most visited web pages, ads clicked, time spent on particular websites and related details and then sends them to adware distribution networks. You can learn more about WinArcher by reading this article: WinArcher PUP. How to Remove It? (Uninstall Guide).
You will find WinArcher removal instructions at the end of the provided article. We do not recommend keeping such programs on the system not only because they can track your activity online, but also because they can slow down the computer system.
Good luck,
