Attentive Antivirus. How to remove? (Uninstall guide)

removal by Julie Splinters - -   Also known as AttentiveAntivirus | Type: Rogue Antispyware

Attentive Antivirus is a rogue anti-spyware, which belongs to an old group of viruses, which is known as WinWebSec. Once it attacks the PC, it starts reporting about invented viruses. By doing that, it seeks to scare its victims and push them into purchasing licensed version. Be sure that such version doesn't exist and if you were told by this program that your computer is infected and that you need to get the 'licensed' Attentive Antivirus version in order to fix it, you have to ignore this offer because you will lose your money. Typically, this rogue anti-spyware gets inside the system without any permission asked. It infects computers through security holes that appear when users forget updating anti-virus and anti-spyware or simply doesn't have it. Please, stay away from Attentive Antivirus. If you have already purchased this rogue, you have to contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. Finally, remove Attentive Antivirus without any delay.

Attentive Antivirus applies the same distribution methods as its predecessors. Typically, it relies on trojan horse, which hides inside illegal websites and spam. In addition, you should stay away from e-mails that come from unknown sources to keep your PC protected. Once it gets inside the system, this trojan horse downloads infected files and modifies it in order to make this malware active as soon as PC is rebooted. Once it becomes active, it starts showing continuous pop-up ads and notifications that claim:
