Hi!! I have noticed promotional ads by Ads by BasementDuster on Facebook. It seems that in some of the cases the same ads show up on random sites I enter. Why? Am I infected?

Thank you for your report. It seems that BasementDuster adware is getting more and more active. The emergence of the "Ads by BasementDuster" is a clear sign that your web browser has been hijacked by an adware-type program (ad-supported browser extension). They can show up on Facebook and other websites that you view, so the longeR you keep BasementDuster virus inside, the more ads are going to show up.
