This malware that you got affected by is the version of a notorious Djvu virus that makes various changes to the encryption process and coding, so file recovery and virus removal become barely possible.
Peet ransomware is one of the more recent versions that use online keys and victim IDs that leaves little to no solutions for file restoring. Online IDs mean that each victim gets a unique one and previously used methods of file decryption cannot work anymore.
STOP Decrypter was a great tool for many victims because when one offline ID was obtained many other victims got their files recovered too. The updated version of Emsisoft Stop/Djvu decrypter can help with files encrypted by 148 variants that came out before the August 25th of this year. It is also possible to get your files recovered with the tool when offline IDs get used even when your PC gets infected by a newer variant.
However, the best option for you is to remove the virus, that you already did and rely on data backups or third-party software. There are not many we can suggest to you because encryption is a difficult process that is not easily decoded. You may try to use ShadowExplorer or Data Recovery Pro tool.
