Hi guys! I recently found my web browser hijacked. Search.SearchGeniusinfo.com virus have taken my homepage and search provider away and does not allow to be replaced. What surprised me the most is the fact that Search.SearchGeniusinfo.com search doesn’t even work. Whenever I type sth in the search bar, i receive such a message: “Not Found. The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.” Ok, tell me please how to stop this havoc.

As you probably already understood, Search.SearchGeniusinfo.com is a browser hijacker. It can replace a default start page and search provider without requiring user's permission.
The fact that the search is not working is interesting. We tested it a couple of weeks ago and it seemed to be working OK, if we can call it so. However, we have distinguished browser's redirects as the main problem. Well, this does not change the point. If your web browser has been hijacked and you are not allowed to browse normally, we would highly recommend you to remove Search.SearchGeniusinfo.com virus from the system.
