I just found that my pc’s been hijacked. I managed to find out that it’s the GhostCrypt ransomware that did the job. Luckily, I have backups of my files so I only need to remove this malicious software to be able to use my PC properly again. I’m looking for a quick but also a safe way to remove it. Any suggestions?

Remember that you must make sure the virus is removed from your computer completely before attempting to recover your data. Otherwise, the virus may lock the files on your external storage as well.
