My default search engine is Google on my MacBook Air. I use Safari. And every time I search on Google, my address bar goes to searchbaron.com … takes forever … then to bing.com and the search results come up from Bing. Every now and then it goes to trovi.com before Bing too. I have tried everything. This is so frustrating. Can you please help me?

This seems to be a Bing redirect virus case that is a browser hijacker which affects Mac devices and Windows OS running machines. This is not malicious, but PUPs cause a lot of frustration because of the redirecting and interfering with your online searches.
Trovi is also another browser hijacker that causes more unwanted behavior or even installations of questionable applications and in-browser material. You should read more about this particular hijack and rely on the video guide that shows all the steps needed for the removal process.
The best tip we can give is to use automatic antivirus tools and clean the machine thoroughly, so all the programs that get installed behind your back get deleted automatically.
