I think all my files have been added to one archive – I cannot see my files anywhere, only YourFilesHere-OpenWithWinrar.ace file. Also, I have found the ransom note that says I have to pay a ransom to get my files back. The ransom note features a huge Winrarer logo, so I should assume it is Winrarer ransomware, I guess. How can I remove winrarer and is it possible to extract this archive somehow?

WinRarer virus is a nasty ransomware that archives target files into one file and secures it with a password. Sadly, it is impossible to open this archive, because it is secured with a adamant password and brute-force programs need to make thousands of attempts to guess the right one, sadly, this process can take ages. However, malware researchers might manage to find a way to crack this ransomware and find out how the unique password is generated. Until then, you need to be patient. Of course, you should remove WinRarer ransomware as soon as you can. For that, we recommend using the FortectIntego program. You might need to start your PC in a Safe Mode with Networking to do it.
