Picprosto.click is a misleading website designed by scammers. Users do not visit this site intentionally, although there is a bigger chance of encountering it when browsing insecure websites such as torrents or illegal video streaming platforms. After being redirected to the site, users are then shown a fake message which encourages click the “Allow” button within the push notification prompt shown at the top-left corner of the page.

Those who get tricked by the scam can later witness intrusive Picprosto.click ads coming up at random times. Not only can they be annoying, but they often carry malicious links. 3. Select the web address in question, click the drop-down menu and select Deny.

MS Edge (Chromium)

1. Open Microsoft Edge, and go to Settings.
2. Select Site permissions.
3. Go to Notifications on the right.
4. Under Allow, you will find the unwanted entry.
5. Click on More actions and select Block.

Internet Explorer

1. Open Internet Explorer, and click on the Gear icon at the top-right of the window.
2. Select Internet options and go to the Privacy tab.
3. In the Pop-up Blocker section, click on Settings.
4. Locate the web address in question under Allowed sites and pick Remove.
