Search.searchradioa.com virus Removal Guide
What is Search.searchradioa.com virus?
Hello! Can you tell me why my browser displays this Search.searchradioa.com (Radio Anytime) search engine whenever I launch Google Chrome or whenever I open a new tab on it? I have never seen this search engine before. Can I use it?
What do we know about Search.searchradioa.com?
Unfortunately, we cannot say that Search.searchradioa.com (by SaferBrowser) is a reliable search engine, because after our spyware research team has investigated this program, it was found that it initiates suspicious activities. In fact, the way this program behaves was the reason to categorize it as a ‘browser hijacker.’ All in all, Search.searchradioa.com hijacker can be labeled as a ‘potentially unwanted program’ (PUP), and that is NOT a good software classification. Let us explain why this program was categorized like that:
- Search.searchradioa.com browser hijacker can enter your computer together with another free program, and it is likely that you are NOT going to notice that. Isn’t such infiltration method shady?
- Once this program finds a way to enter your system, it immediately changes your homepage to Search.searchradioa.com and pretends to be a nice search engine when in reality it is a doubtful page that you should not rely on!
- We must warn you – we have noticed that this page displays a lot of promotional content injected in its search outcomes. That means this search delivers sponsored results. Be careful because it is also believed that this controversial program might deliver deceptive search results as well – although they might look completely normal, they can hold misleading hyperlinks attached to them, and these links can cause Search.searchradioa.com redirects to its affiliate websites.
- Be cautious if you ever experience those redirects. We do not recommend browsing through such pages because some of them can be DANGEROUS.
By the way, do not be deceived because this dubious browser hijacker delivers search results that are ‘powered by Yahoo search.’ It is NOT the real Yahoo search! If you want to use a reliable search engine, use the real Yahoo.com one, or Google, or Bing search engine instead of Radio Anytime one. To get rid of this suspicious search page, you need to uninstall it – and for that, you can use FortectIntego, anti-spyware software or any other similar software you like.
How did Search.searchradioa.com hijack my computer?
This is the tricky part. Be careful because Search.searchradioa.com PUP is distributed in an officially legitimate way. However, this distribution method might not look so fair to you. You see, this browser hijacker can be easily installed on your computer at the same time when you install another free app – it is because this parasite can be attached to other freeware as an ‘optional download.’ However, the unfair part is that you are not going to be informed about it in a direct way. To see whether your selected freeware promotes this program, you need to adjust installation settings. Set Advanced or Custom installation mode – it should reveal whether the software promotes third-party applications or not. If it does, then deselect the agreements to install Search.searchradioa.com browser hijacker or other suspicious apps.
Already installed this browser parasite? Then continue reading on page 2 to find out how to remove it.
What to do if I have already installed it?
If you want, you can keep it – but we do not recommend doing so. If you do not want to experience computer slowdowns, annoying redirects, and other issues, we suggest removing Search.searchradioa.com virus immediately. You can remove it in two different ways – manually, or automatically. We have prepared and provided in-detail removal guidances below the text. However, if you want to ensure an even better computer safety – scan your computer with anti-spyware software and remove all computer parasites that might have been installed on your PC a while ago.
You may remove virus damage with a help of FortectIntego. SpyHunter 5Combo Cleaner and Malwarebytes are recommended to detect potentially unwanted programs and viruses with all their files and registry entries that are related to them.

How to prevent from getting stealing programs
Choose a proper web browser and improve your safety with a VPN tool
Online spying has got momentum in recent years and people are getting more and more interested in how to protect their privacy online. One of the basic means to add a layer of security – choose the most private and secure web browser. Although web browsers can't grant full privacy protection and security, some of them are much better at sandboxing, HTTPS upgrading, active content blocking, tracking blocking, phishing protection, and similar privacy-oriented features. However, if you want true anonymity, we suggest you employ a powerful Private Internet Access VPN – it can encrypt all the traffic that comes and goes out of your computer, preventing tracking completely.
Lost your files? Use data recovery software
While some files located on any computer are replaceable or useless, others can be extremely valuable. Family photos, work documents, school projects – these are types of files that we don't want to lose. Unfortunately, there are many ways how unexpected data loss can occur: power cuts, Blue Screen of Death errors, hardware failures, crypto-malware attack, or even accidental deletion.
To ensure that all the files remain intact, you should prepare regular data backups. You can choose cloud-based or physical copies you could restore from later in case of a disaster. If your backups were lost as well or you never bothered to prepare any, Data Recovery Pro can be your only hope to retrieve your invaluable files.
