Hi,
The virus was installed on D drive. I tried system scan with anti-malware software, but it did not help. What else can I do?

The virus might block security program or prevent it from eliminating the virus. Meanwhile, Safe Mode allows disabling the virus and removing it from the system. Additionally, you should try another professional security program like Reimage. However, keep in mind that free programs are too weak and unable to terminate viruses. Hence, you should invest in reputable malware removal tool.
