A never seen website has been set as my homepage, but i have no idea how it could happen. You see, I did not set it as my homepage with my own hands! Plus, no one uses this PC except me. Am I infected???

We just want to say that you are not the only victim who has installed Home.searchtp.com virus accidentally - this program is spread via bundling, and that means it is distributed together with some other free programs, presented as a 'recommended download.' It is not a quite fair way to distribute software because the proposals to install such recommended apps are not presented in a direct way. You can find information about such optional applications added to the free software you want to install only if you read Terms of Use document or choose Advanced/Custom installation settings.
