I just turned on my PC to find out that all of my files now have .rose extensions next to them. Besides, I cannot access any of the files marked this way. How do I fix this? Is it even fixable in the first place?
What do .rose extensions next to my files mean?

Thank your for addressing us with your problem. Finding .rose extensions next to your files is not normal and undoubtedly means that your PC might have been targeted by some sort of ransomware virus.
In particular, you are most probably infected with a version of Globe Imposter virus which has recently been using a variety of new different extensions to mark the encrypted files. .rose is one of them.
Unfortunately, at the moment of speaking, the ransomware does not seem to be decryptable but you may try to recover your files in alternative ways. A few of these methods are described at the end of this article: Globe Imposter ransomware virus. How to remove?
Remember that you must remove the virus from your PC before anything. FortectIntego or similar antivirus software will help you do it.
Good luck and take care!
