Some guy on facebook just sent me a link which I foolishly clicked on…. It opened a window saying my files have been encrypted and I cannot seem to get this window closed… If it’s a prank, how do I close it?

CVLocker is a fake crypted which means it’s not a real ransomware which encrypts files, but rather a lockscreen virus which imitates ransomware just to mess with people. You should not take it too seriously and remove it from your PC with FortectIntego or similar antivirus software.
