What is Ads by HaggleDazzle?

What is HaggleDazzle?

HaggleDazzle is another potentially unwanted program, which is designed to generate ads on the websites you browse. This adware pops-up ads that offer “great” prices and coupons on your favourite online shopping websites. The official page of HaggleDazzle suggests to „use the HaggleDazzle browser add-on and start shopping today without hurting your budget. It’s the complete online shopping tool that gives you the ultimate advantage of comparing the nest deals, discounts, and promotions from all your favourite online shopping sites.“ Our research team has found many similar adware type programs with exactly the same text on their websites: CouponTasticOffers, Big-Bonus, FantasticDisdcounts, AllStarDeals and even more. It means that the developers of such adware clone same application and entitle them differently. You can recognise HaggleDazzle ads by the text below or above the advertisements: “By HaggleDazzle”, “Brought to you by HaggleDazzle”, “Powered by HaggleDazzle”, “Ads by HaggleDazzle” or “You’ve received a premium offer from HaggleDazzle”. The aim of HaggleDazzle potentially unwanted program (PUP) is to promote the marketing and increase the traffic of suspicious third-party websites, which may hold harmful content. To stay away from possibly infectious websites, do not click on HaggleDazzle advertisements. If you have recognised HaggleDazzle by its common characteristics, you should remove it by using a reliable anti-spyware FortectIntego.

How did HaggleDazzle hicak my computer?

HaggleDazzle is just a type of adware that makes its way to your computer when bundled with a free software you have installed from the web. It is a very common situation that PC users tend to carelessly rush through the installation, choose default installation settings and click finish. The main problem is that the agreement to install bundled programs is usually hidden right behind the „default“ or „standard“ options. That’s why you should choose „custom“ or „advanced“ mode and untick suggested additional applications, browser extensions, add-ons and plug-ins. Be attentive and do not expose your system for potential risks in the future.

How to prevent from getting adware

Access your website securely from any location

When you work on the domain, site, blog, or different project that requires constant management, content creation, or coding, you may need to connect to the server and content management service more often. The best solution for creating a tighter network could be a dedicated/fixed IP address.

If you make your IP address static and set to your device, you can connect to the CMS from any location and do not create any additional issues for the server or network manager that needs to monitor connections and activities. VPN software providers like Private Internet Access can help you with such settings and offer the option to control the online reputation and manage projects easily from any part of the world.

Recover files after data-affecting malware attacks

While much of the data can be accidentally deleted due to various reasons, malware is one of the main culprits that can cause loss of pictures, documents, videos, and other important files. More serious malware infections lead to significant data loss when your documents, system files, and images get encrypted. In particular, ransomware is is a type of malware that focuses on such functions, so your files become useless without an ability to access them.

Even though there is little to no possibility to recover after file-locking threats, some applications have features for data recovery in the system. In some cases, Data Recovery Pro can also help to recover at least some portion of your data after data-locking virus infection or general cyber infection.
