The first thing you need to understand is that Advanced PC Fixer is NOT a virus.
It is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that is presented by its developers Pcvark Software Pvt. Ltd. as an optimization tool. The program hails from the same developer as US System Care and has two versions – the paid one and the free one. Users can install both versions directly from the official website.
However, once this app enters your computer, it starts using its aggressive scanners to generate the money from its full versions. Security vendors have already included this tool to the data base of their programs as MSIL/AdvancedPcCare.C, Win32.Application.PC, vark.AW32.Application.Pcvark!c, Program.Unwanted.1724, etc. However, this tool is neither a virus nor malicious. The developers of the software have been using its official website to promote this optimizer.
However, you may find yourself disappointed after installing this application on your computer because it is just another optimizer seeking to make the money. The developers of such programs have been actively using the smart marketing strategy that tricks users into believing that their computers are full of problems.
Once you install the free version of Advanced PC Fixer, you can see that it works like a scanner that only detects issues on the computer. Some computer users might be interested in purchasing the paid version of the PC optimizer that claims to be capable of fixing all detected issues.

As we already mentioned, Advanced PC Fixer has an official website and users can install a free version or purchase a paid version from there.
If you installed this application from there, you need to worry about nothing. According to the developers of this program, they don't use bundling for promoting this tool on the Internet, so it is impossible to find it on your PC out of nowhere. Advanced PC Fixer hijack can hardly occur by accident and this tool cannot be added as an additional program to the software package .
If you want to know more details about a proper installation of free software, you should stop using "Recommended" or "Standard" settings. To see the checkbox with pre-selected additional applications, you need to choose "Advanced" or "Custom" mode. Using this setup you have to complete each installation step carefully and deselect all pre-selected items.

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager and select Startup apps (Windows 11) or the Startup tab (Windows 10). Disable entries you do not recognise, especially ones with no publisher or with a name that copies a Windows component.

Step 3: Delete the folders left behind
Uninstalling often leaves the program's folders, and some threats reinstall themselves from them.
Press Windows + R, type
%LocalAppData%and press Enter, then do the same for%AppData%and %ProgramData%, and look for folders named after Advanced PC Fixer virus, its publisher or created on the day the problem started.Delete those folders, and check

Step 4: Scan the PC, then run the offline scan

Advanced PC Fixer virus has no uninstall option. What now?
Some unwanted programs leave no entry in Installed apps on purpose. Find the program's files instead: open Task Manager while advanced PC Fixer virus in the list of installed apps is visible, right-click the process and choose Open file location. End the process, then look in that folder for an uninstall file.
