Freemium is the program that fills the screen with ads

Freemium is another program, which can do anything for increasing the advertising revenue for its creators. According to experts, it can easily take over the default search engine, the start page, and other system settings. After altering them, it may start blocking Google and other popular search engines.
If you have been tricked into using Freemium hijacker/adware for your searches, beware that you may receive altered search results. In addition, you may start seeing annoying pop-up ads during your searches because that's how its developers manage to collect this advertising revenue.
Finally, Freemium may force people to use Conduit instead of their homepage, which is also known for suspicious redirects to unknown websites and similar questionable activities. Finally, you should keep in mind that Freemium, just like any other ad-supported browser add-on, may try to collect information, which is related to your search habits.
Such data includes search terms, mostly visited websites, data that is entered when visiting each of your favorite sites, PC's IP address, its location, etc. After collecting all this data, Freemium may start displaying related ads every time when people start their browsing on the web. If you have already noticed ads by Freemium on your computer, it's a sign that this program has infiltrated it.
