Remove Top Deals ads

removal by Jake Doevan - - | Type: Adware

If you have spotted that annoying “ads by Top Deal” appear on your screen on a daily basis, you should not ignore them. It is a sign that a potentially unwanted program (PUP) is running on your computer. To be precise, it is an adware program, which, as you have already noticed, delivers hundreds of ads that are very annoying. It is very important to know that Top Deal ads are not reliable and that you should not click on them. To learn more about Top Deal virus, please read below.

Why is Top Deal virus dangerous?

Speaking of Top Deal, it is worth to mention that it can only be installed with your approval. Unfortunately, it can be obtained in an unfair way and even without your knowledge. Once this threat enters your computer system, it installs components that have several different functionalities. Some of them are meant to track your browsing activity – what websites do you visit, what search terms do you use, what links do you click on, and so on. All this information is needed to understand your needs. As a consequence, Top Deal adware generates attractive-looking ads, which usually display coupon codes, price comparisons, “great deals” and various offers that should help you to save money while shopping online.

Questions about Top Deals ads

Unfortunately, these ads are nothing but traps, which, once you click on them, initiate redirects to predetermined third-party websites that Top Deal wants you to visit. It does that in order to get pay-per-click profit from websites that ask for a promotion. In most of the cases, these sites are not even related to the content of the ad that caused the redirect. However, the worst part is that these ads can force you to visit possibly untrustworthy web sources, which can be filled with malicious content. We strongly recommend NOT to trust websites that you get redirected to and say no whenever you receive an offer to install a free program or a software update from them. There is a possibility of downloading a malicious file; to keep your computer safe, we recommend removing Top Deal malware from your computer as soon as possible, otherwise it might trick you or other people who use your computer to install a potentially dangerous program. You can easily remove Top Deal using anti-spyware software, for example, ReimageIntego.

How can Top Deals hijack my computer?

In this paragraph, we want to introduce ‘bundling’ distribution method because not only Top Deals adware but also other potentially unwanted programs spread around using this method. People often relate potentially unwanted programs to viruses and claim that they appeared on their computers out of nowhere. We agree that sometimes PUPs may be very misleading. However, they are not capable of infiltrating user’s computer without permission asked. No matter how, but permission must be asked, and you must have given consent to install Top Deals if it is bothering you at the moment. To prevent installing such and similar programs without even noticing them, you have to pay more attention to the installation process of various freeware. Be very careful because they are usually indicated in a misleading manner. Always select Advanced or Custom installation option and monitor the whole process step-by-step. Do not skip a single word and always pay attention to every notification that marked with a tick because ‘optional downloads’ that are traveling alongside freeware are always set by default and needs to be unchecked. Otherwise, you will end up with a PUP on your computer and will experience various inconveniences.

In case Top Deal PUP is already running on your computer system, we recommend you to eliminate it without a delay. Please follow Top Deal removal guide on page 2 to get rid of Top Deal virus completely.

All I can say that Top Deals is deceptive. I am no computer geek and I cannot say that websites that Ive been redirected to are malicious, but I definitely have noticed that it redirects me to completely different websites than I expect to visit when clicking on its ads. It deserves removal, so thats what I did.
