Win Tune Pro Removal Guide

What is Win Tune Pro?

Win Tune Pro is not the program you should use for Windows optimization

The picture showing WinTune Pro

Win Tune Pro is an application that may look like useful software that helps you to optimize your PC performance. However, its appearance is tricky. This program is designed to coax out money by deceiving users to buy its full version.

Sometimes it becomes quite a challenge to tell a difference between an effective program and a fraudulent one. As you have already realized, this application will not monitor your computer the way you expect. It might cause more problems instead. Consequently, you should not hesitate to remove Win Tune Pro.

Time is becoming a highly valued treasure. Each of us relies on modern technologies more and more. Anti-virus program protects us against malware while real PC optimizers are designed to optimize computers by removing temporary files, enlarging space on the hard drive and boosting overall system performance.

If you work in a company, a fast-running computer is a necessity. Thus, you may decide to install a system tool that would improve the operating system. Likewise, you might have run into Win Tune Pro. At first glance, it might seem like the right choice, but it couldn't be further from the truth.

However, once you install the software, you instantly get disillusioned. The program detects multiple system issues. Once you intend to fix them, a new window pops up, suggesting you purchase the full version of Win Tune Pro. Moreover, it provides a tech support number.

We would like to warn you not to call the number since you may be connected not with a cybersecurity professional but with a scammer who tries to convince you into purchasing additional fake malware removal tools. In case you have decided to buy the full edition, note that it might not solve the problems Win Tune Pro virus claims of.

The software might include additional files which are responsible for generating fake system errors. What is more, you never know whether the full version is malware-free. To sum up, you should start thinking about Win Tune Pro removal – you can either do it manually as explained below or rely on anti-malware software. If you are looking for a tool that could fix your Windows problems, look no further and try FortectIntego – an app that will not show you fake scan results.

Transmission ways of potentially unwanted software

It is understandable if you installed the program hoping that it will help you to solve PC problems. Alternatively, the software might have sneaked into your computer without noticing when you installed a free program. Scammers prefer attaching various irrelevant PUPs, such as adware, browser hijackers, and fake PC optimizers, to frequently downloadable applications.

Afterward, the add-ons are disguised under “Basic” installation. Thence, when you hit the “Install,” you unintentionally installed Win Tune Pro as well. Next time you are about to install a new application, you should choose “Advanced” settings and watch out for any add-ons.

Complete Win Tune Pro removal

There are two main methods to get rid of this fake PC optimizer. The manual elimination option is more suitable for those who prefer doing things independently and have spare time to remove Win Tune Pro the usual way. Otherwise, an anti-spyware program is the most suitable option for you.

The application is apt in differentiating between legitimate and potentially dangerous files, so in this case, it might be a more convenient option rather than a manual. Finally, do not forget to update it regularly so that it can ensure real-time protection and minimize the risk of any malware infecting your computer.

For Windows users:

  1. Click “Start” button
  2. Enter “Control Panel”
  3. Find “Win Tune Pro” and select “Uninstall” function
  4. Finish the process by clicking “OK.”

For Mac system:

  1. Click “Go” button and select “Applications”
  2. Find the “Win Tune Pro” in the list
  3. After selecting the program, choose “Move to Trash.”

Finally, do not forget to clean your web browsers, as PUPs tend to insert cookies for tracking purposes or change web browser settings without permission. Check the details below or rely on FortectIntego for that.

How to prevent from getting system tools

Choose a proper web browser and improve your safety with a VPN tool

Online spying has got momentum in recent years and people are getting more and more interested in how to protect their privacy online. One of the basic means to add a layer of security – choose the most private and secure web browser. Although web browsers can't grant full privacy protection and security, some of them are much better at sandboxing, HTTPS upgrading, active content blocking, tracking blocking, phishing protection, and similar privacy-oriented features. However, if you want true anonymity, we suggest you employ a powerful Private Internet Access VPN – it can encrypt all the traffic that comes and goes out of your computer, preventing tracking completely.

Lost your files? Use data recovery software

While some files located on any computer are replaceable or useless, others can be extremely valuable. Family photos, work documents, school projects – these are types of files that we don't want to lose. Unfortunately, there are many ways how unexpected data loss can occur: power cuts, Blue Screen of Death errors, hardware failures, crypto-malware attack, or even accidental deletion.

To ensure that all the files remain intact, you should prepare regular data backups. You can choose cloud-based or physical copies you could restore from later in case of a disaster. If your backups were lost as well or you never bothered to prepare any, Data Recovery Pro can be your only hope to retrieve your invaluable files.
