can you plz help me delete the trojan that has changed browser’s default start page to default-search.net site. I cannot remove this page via browser’s settings. My browser also started to display dozens of ads and I am sure it wasn’t like that before. I need to remove default-search.net and the trojan that promotes it. Please help!

Have you seen the default-search.net removal tutorial that we provided? If not, you should definitely check it out. However, it seems that default-search.net virus is ever-evolving, so it might be even harder to remove it from the system. If you cannot remove default-search.net because you can find no files related to it on the system, we strongly recommend running a system scan with anti-malware software.
We must say that default-search.net browser hijacker does not belong to the Trojan category because once installed, it doesn't automatically replicate itself. However, the fact that default-search hijacker often comes in a bundle with an adware program called Linkey usually annoys and scares computer users.
The easiest way to remove default-search.net as well as Linkey at once is to perform a system scan using anti-malware software. We do not recommend trying to remove both of these programs manually because they tend to hide their components deeply in the system and also alter Registry Keys. We do not recommend you to attempt to meddle with Windows Registry because you can easily delete relevant elements that belong to other programs.
