First of all, sorry for your problem. However, you should believe that you can remove it from the system because it's just a potentially unwanted program, not a virus. Before you start resetting your browser settings, open control panel and follow these steps:
1. Click ‘Start menu’ -> ‘Control Panel’ -> ‘Uninstall a Program’ or ‘Add/Remove Programs’
2. Now look for anything what could be related to Qone8.com and choose ‘Uninstall’ button.
Besides, you should also uninstall this freeware that was installed on the same day when qone8 showed up on your computer.
After uninstalling this program, remove Qone8.com's add-on from each of your browsers:
Internet Explorer:
Open Internet Explorer, go ‘Tools‘ -> ”Manage Add-ons’ -> ‘Toolbars and Extensions’. Here, look for Qone8.com and click ‘uninstall’. Now open IE once again and click Tools -> Internet Option -> General tab. Enter Google or other address to make it the default start page.
Mozilla Firefox:
Open Mozilla Firefox, go ‘Tools’ -> ‘Add-ons’ -> ‘Extensions’ and find Qone8.com. Click ‘Uninstall’. Now open Mozilla Firefox once more, go to Tools -> Options -> General -> Startup and select ‘Show a blank page’ when Firefox Starts or set a certain website, like Google or similar.
Google Chrome:
Click the Chrome menu button on the Google Chrome browser, select Tools -> Extensions. Here, look for Qone8.com and other unknown extensions and get rid of them by clicking on the Recycle Bin. After that, choose ‘Manage search engines’ and change the default search engine to google or other and delete Qone8.com from the list.
Finally, we also recommend checking the system with updated anti-spyware to make sure that it's free of viruses. For that you can try any of these tools: FortectIntego; STOPzilla or Malwarebytes.
Good luck!
