Had one earlier on my Windows 11 PC where Chrome suddenly popped a “session expired” warning and wanted me to sign in again through a weird-looking page. The address bar looked off, and it started nagging for saved passwords straight away. I shut it down quick enough, but it was proper dodgy. Anyone else seen that sort of thing lately?

Had a weird one on my Windows 11 box today: a browser page suddenly threw up a security warning saying my profile was “corrupted” and wanted me to sign in again through a cracked-looking prompt. Bit of a cheeky attempt, that. I closed it, checked Task Manager, and it was gone. Anyone else seen that sort of nonsense lately?
Got a proper dodgy one on my Windows 11 PC last night: a fake browser update pop-up that looked dead convincing, then tried to push me into running some random installer. Windows blocked it, thankfully, but it still had me checking everything twice. Anyone else been seeing these fake update nags lately?
