RocketSaler ads Removal Guide
What is Ads by RocketSaler?
What is RocketSaler?
RocketSaler can hardly be called useful and reliable application. In fact, it's usefulness can be questionable, whereas the fact that it's NOT reliable is clear. It has already aroused various discussions not only among internet users, but also among reputable security vendors. They have noticed that RocketSaler virus is actively spreading on the internet along with popular free software, such as download managers, audio or video players, PDF creators and so on. Besides, users report about various system distortions and annoying activities that start happening right after RocketSaler gets inside a computer. First of all, people report about an excessive amount of commercial advertisements that appear on every browser that they try to use. They claim that, in most of the cases, 'Ads by RocketSaler' appear as banners, pop-ups and expose various products and services that are very appealing to check. However, we do not recommend that due to several things. First of all, every time when you click on them, you risk exposing your computer to various cyber threats. That's because some of the ads may be filled with suspicious links and reroute you to unsafe websites. In addition to that, by clicking on RocketSaler ads you risk losing personally identifiable data. Even though it's a potential threat, bear in mind that you may be rerouted to suspicious online shopping websites that may be managed by cyber criminals. It goes without saying that after buying something there you may get scammed. Besides, your privacy may be violated by installing tracking cookies and monitoring your web browsing habits. Due to all aforementioned issues and the fact that RocketSaler tends to get inside unnoticed, security experts have categorized it as an adware, a potentially unwanted program (PUP) and recommend removing it with a reputable anti-spyware, such as FortectIntego.
How can RocketSaler hijack my computer?
RocketSaler is a suspicious app that can drop it's extension of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer silently and start delivering tens of annoying advertisements on them as if out of nowhere. It's important to notify that RocketSaler is not a virus. It can hardly pose any harm to a computer and it even cannot get inside a computer without user's permission asked. However, it is set to deliver annoying advertisements, initiate suspicious redirects, slow down the system and implement other suspicious activities. In order to avoid installing it, you should keep in mind that it commonly spreads in a bundle with various freewares and sharewares. Since it's not possible to observe it from the outside of bundled installers, people often find RocketSaler virus on their computers 'out of nowhere'. To avoid this happening, always select Advanced or Custom installation option no matter what kind of freeware are you installing. After that, opt out of every check box that promote additional components. Of course, not every freeware may be filled with 'optional downloads', but bear in mind that, at the moment of writing, 'bundled installers' prevail and be careful with every free program.
