Baidu Toolbar is a toolbar that tries to promote the Conduit virus

Baidu is a software product that belongs to the well-known software developer Baidu Inc. Therefore, it's very important that you do understand that the products of this company are legitimate, reliable, and highly appreciated in China. Statistically, 70% of Chinese people are using the Baidu search engine, which is an outstanding number. Therefore, it would be surprising if cyber frauds would not try to trick people into misusing such and similar brands for wrong deeds.

In this particular case, we need to warn you that pretending to be a legitimate tool by Baidu, Baidu Toolbar is misused by some unfair third parties that seek to promote the Conduit virus. Many people have downloaded this tool without realizing what it is.

Can't remember installing Baidu Toolbar? Did it enter your machine with the Conduit toolbar? Did your web browser's search provider and homepage have been altered? If you answered 'Yes' to all three questions, then stop browsing the net and take needed precautionary measures to protect your computer from further computer infections because Baidu Toolbar from Conduit (baidu.ourtoolbar.com) is not the same as Baidu software from Baidu Inc.

Apparently, your PC is affected by several unwanted programs, namely Baidu Toolbar browser hijacker.

Therefore, if you have installed this toolbar believing that it will help you to “get the freshest content”, “get a wide choice of useful search engines”, “choose from thousands of free apps for your browser”, and other things, but right after that conduit.search.com appears instead of your default start page and search provider, you should start worrying that you've just ended up with the wrong toolbar. The best solution would be to remove Baidu Toolbar.

Baidu Toolbar removal

This toolbar is misused by some unfair third parties that seek to promote the Conduit virus. If you want to protect your computer from various cyber threats, redirects to suspicious domains, and similar issues, get rid of Baidu Toolbar along with Conduit Toolbar with the help of SpyHunterCombo Cleaner, MalwarebytesMalwarebytes, or another alternative anti-spyware.

Ways how Baidu Toolbar can infect web browser and what issues it may cause

Baidu Toolbar belongs to the Conduit family of browser hijackers. In order to spread those threats as widely as possible, developers often misuse the names of legitimate programs and make people believe that they are reliable. The same applies to this browser hijacker.

In most of the cases, Baidu and Conduit toolbars infiltrate computers via software packages. In other words, if the user falls for installing freeware without checking what it carries alongside, these toolbars may end up on the system quite easily.

After that, you may find your web browser corrupted, start receiving corrupted search results, and may even be tricked into visiting doubtful/suspicious/unsafe domains. Besides, your web browser may slow down significantly. Finally, those dubious toolbars may be used for collecting browsing-related data about you. In order to prevent your privacy from being violated, and Baidu Toolbar redirects from exposing you to malicious websites, avoid making searches with these search providers and ensure their removal as soon as possible.

Follow our tips to remove Baidu Toolbar virus

Since the redirect virus can hardly infiltrate computers on its own, you should keep in mind that its removal will help nothing. In order to fix your computer, you have to remove Baidu Toolbar, as well as other PUPs that might have entered your computer alongside it.

The easiest and the most reliable way to get rid of Baidu Toolbar is to check the computer with trustworthy anti-spyware. In the future, be sure to closely monitor the software installation process and do not download suspicious programs.
