FiziPop (Virus Removal Guide) - 2021 update
FiziPop Removal Guide
What is FiziPop?
FiziPop is an adware that can cause various problems on your computer
FiziPop virus is a potentially unwanted program, which was added to the “adware” category. That's why you should think twice before downloading this browser extension to your computer. Also, you should think about the removal if you have already installed this app on your computer.
The developers of this extension claim that it is capable of helping people access “premium” games. However, they must have forgotten to mention that it can also cause FiziPop ads during each of their search sessions. These ads can be extremely annoying because they show up as soon as you start browsing. Besides, after being clicked, they may redirect users to unknown websites. Keep in mind that there is no guarantee that each of these sites is safe.
Also, once added to the system, FiziPop may start collecting such data as:
- search queries,
- mostly visited websites,
- email address,
- computer's IP address, and similar information.
According to program makers, this particular information is used to serve “useful” advertisements, but we would like to warn you that it may be revealed to unreliable parties. Some of these parties may use your email address for fraudulent aims, so the safest way to deal with this adware is to remove FiziPop from the system.

Also, you should avoid clicking on annoying pop-ups and banners labeled as “FiziPop ads,” “powered by FiziPop” or “ads by FiziPop,” because they may lead you into visiting random third-party websites. To get rid of this and other potentially unwanted programs, you can use SpyHunter 5Combo Cleaner or Malwarebytes anti-spyware software.
And if you want to remove FiziPop virus yourself, you can use our instructions at the bottom of this article. Keep in mind that sometimes, even after removing all potentially unwanted programs or serious viruses, your computer can still perform worse than before. In this case, install FortectIntego. This repair tool will help find system errors and repair system files.
Adware distribution methods
Commonly, potentially unwanted applications like this one hijack PCs when freeware or shareware shelter it. In other words, you can install it alongside other free programs without even noticing it. Such software packs are known as software bundles and are usually spread via untrustworthy download websites.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to judge whether the software contains additional components or not just by the appearance of it. Therefore, you have to examine each program you plan to install on your computer.
Therefore, when you launch software’s installer, study all information it provides, including legal documents – Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Next, you have to switch installation settings from Default/Standard to Custom/Advanced and deselect additional components, if your selected software includes any. Then you can proceed with the installation.
