Where do GeoByPass ads come from?

GeoByPass virus is a troublesome computer pest that clutters desktop with annoying ads whenever the computer user attempts to browse the Internet. However, a nice description of this program can trick users into installing it – it promises to provide “access to your favorite content without restrictions.” In other words, it offers DNS service, which is meant to bypass restrictions and allow the user visit any site he or she wants. However, GeoByPass ads shortly spring up, revealing real intentions of this program. These ads are based on user’s interests, so sometimes they can look catchy. However, bear in mind that it is just an illusion and clicking on these ads might not necessarily route you to websites you expect to explore. GeoByPass adware can put your computer at risk by leading you to highly dangerous third-party websites that advertise whatever they want. These third-party websites can be filled with malicious content, which should not be clicked. Remember that by wandering around the Internet freely you can encounter deceitful material and be asked to install a very useful program, which in reality is malicious.

Ads by GeoByPass can annoy you to death
We highly advise you to stay away from such downloads and be very picky when it comes to software installation. Choose only reliable websites to download your desired program’s setup, and install it with caution. We are going to explain how to prevent GeoByPass hijack later on, but now, you should concentrate on GeoByPass removal. To remove GeoByPass and related files, use instructions provided at the very end of this article, or, if you wish, run anti-spyware software like Reimage Reimage Cleaner Intego and let it clean your PC for you. GeoByPass ads can be delivered either by GeoByPass, Ghostify, or CounterFlix programs. You should not let these programs disturb you, so uninstall the one that has infected your computer immediately.

How do attackers insert this software into user’s computers?

Questions about GeoByPass ads

There is no such thing as attackers; we can call them people who make money via pay-per-click advertising scheme, which can seem deceptive for some. They create an ad-supported program and advertise it as a tool that is capable of doing this or that. Then they bundle such programs together with popular free applications and distribute them together. This way, users can be easily tricked into installing additional software just because the software they wish to install offers it. However, such additional downloads frequently disappoint the user and have no use, so it is not advisable to install them. Additional downloads are added almost to every free program you can find on the Internet, so we suggest checking Advanced or Custom settings when installing software and manually reject all suggested programs added to your download.
