Window Raws Manager adware – how does it operate?

If you get infected with Window Raws Manager virus, the computer starts showing various intrusive advertisements. These ads typically appear in pop-up windows, but can also show up as banners or in-text link ads. It is important to know that these advertisements are not related to websites that the user visits, although it might seem so at first sight. Once installed, this program adds WinRaw folder, creates and stores its components there, adds registry keys, browser cookies, and other elements. Then this application starts gathering information about what the computer user is interested in (collects personally non-identifiable data, such as browsing and search history, clicks, time-stamp, IP address, PC geolocation and so on) and later on displays corresponding advertisements on the computer screen frequently enough to annoy the user to death. There is no surprise why so many users look for Window Raws Manager removal guidelines as soon as they notice Window Raws Manager ads – they are highly annoying, intrusive, and hardly beneficial.

It is a must to know that adware ads can be quite deceptive. It does not matter that these ads typically look useful and trustworthy – in most cases, they direct the user to particular third-party websites, and such sites often appear to be untrustworthy. For your own sake, we do not recommend you to interact with these ads at all. You might be redirected to sites promoting rogue software or updates that can be potentially harmful. What is more, these ads are highly annoying, aggressive, and can drive the computer user insane since it is quite hard to understand where do these ads come from. To remove Window Raws Manager, we recommend using anti-spyware software like Reimage – using an automatic spyware removal tool is the most efficient way of removing potentially unwanted programs. Please do not leave this ad-supported spyware on the system because it can simply make it more vulnerable to various computer infections!

How does this program spread and how to protect your PC from it?

The reason why Window Raws Manager hijack occurs can be easily explained, and it is even more easy to prevent this problem from happening. Please, do not rely on auto-selected software installation settings whenever you wish to install a new PC program on the system. These settings (Default, Standard, Basic, or Express) silently hide agreements to install optional programs, such as weather apps, media players, file format converters, and similar applications, which frequently turn out to be ad-supported programs. Typically, these “recommended” downloads can do nothing useful but flood your computer screen with meaningless advertisements. For this reason, we recommend opting out unwanted additions by selecting either Custom or Advanced installation settings and removing unwanted additions manually. The rest of installation can be completed in the usual manner.
