Wise virus Removal Guide

What is Wise ransomware?

Wise ransomware is a dangerous cryptovirus that can either encrypt or delete victim's files

Wise ransomwareWise ransomware is a malicious cryptovirus that deletes your data right after infiltrating the system. Some of its versions can also encrypt users' files, and delete their Shadow Volume Copies.

Wise ransomware is ransomware[1] that is designed to work in another way than other cryptovirus. Once it gets into the target system, it tries to delete data instead of encrypting it. Additionally, the virus shows a misleading message demanding a specific amount of ransom in cryptocurrency. However, having in mind that malware wipes out the user's files, there is no need to pay the ransom. This wiperware can also delete Shadow Volume Copies of the target files. It can be anything from documents, photos, images, videos and other files. Soon after this, the application window is placed on the screen and Wise virus starts demanding to contact its developer vis Team Speak server where he or she is using the surrent.ts5.es name. Contacting these attackers will NEVER be helpful! Make sure you get rid of malware instead.

Symptoms Deletes files and displays a window demanding the ransom
Distribution Spam email attachments, unsafe websites, illegal software
Danger High. Can make serious system changes
Ransom note Displayed in an application window

Wise ransomware virus is not typical ransomware because there is no encryption[2] algorithm used by the virus once it gets into the system. Besides, the target data is simply removed from the device instead of making it unusable and appending predetermined file extensions. The biggest danger is that the virus can delete your files permanently, and even paying the ransom cannot help.

If you happen to catch this virus, focus on Wise ransomware removal at first. Then, when you are sure the system is clean, you can try recovering your lost data if it was encrypted. There is no specific tool designed for this, but we have a few solutions for you down below.

As typical ransomware would, Wise ransomware, displays a ransom message with detailed instructions on what to do after this cyber attack. The virus displays its ransom note in a black application window. However, the ransom amount and other typical information related to files' recovery is not determined.

The ransom note of Wise virus reads the following:

all your files are encrypted or deleted. To get the decryption key enter in the following teamspeak 3 server —> surrent.ts5.es

If you have already saved backups of your valuable data, you use them to replace the affected files after the virus termination. The best solution for dealing with such threats is the anti-malware programs like ReimageIntego. If you want to remove Wise ransomware and avoid encryption in the future, you should scan your system with these tools. Anti-malware program will detect all malicious programs hiding inside your system. If you keep this program alongside your antivirus, it will also help you maximize the security of your device.

Wise ransomware virusWise virus is a dangerous ransomware that demands a ransom for a decryption tool which is unnecessary as the files are wiped out, not deleted.

Malicious files can be found in spam email attachments

These cyber infections that come silently are the most dangerous because the activity is not noticeable for a while. Ransomware spreading methods are a few, but the most common is spam email attachments that contain documents filled with malicious script. Unfortunately, these files can look legitimate and safe. People tend to believe the file is harmless but the minute they download and open this attachment, they get an infection on their system.

Virus developers evolve, and these letters might not look suspicious at all. Researchers[3] advise you to remember that Word or Excel files attached to an email from unknown people, service or company may be insecure. You should pay more attention to what emails you are getting. If you are not expecting any email, firstly check the address and try to answer the sender if it is unfamiliar. You can also try scanning the file attached for malicious content, before even downloading and opening it.

Terminate Wise ransomware with tools specifically designed for the malware removal

To remove Wise ransomware from your device, you need to use reputable anti-malware tools. These programs can detect the malware and successfully delete it from the system. Wise ransomware removal can be difficult enough, especially if you are inexperienced PC user. However, if you are using proper tools, the only thing you need to do is to follow the wizard and perform the required steps. This full system scan is crucial if you want to get back to perfectly clean and safe device. Any data recovery or file replacement can't be done until the system of your PC is wiped clean. How to prevent from getting ransomware

Do not let government spy on you

The government has many issues in regards to tracking users' data and spying on citizens, so you should take this into consideration and learn more about shady information gathering practices. Avoid any unwanted government tracking or spying by going totally anonymous on the internet.

You can choose a different location when you go online and access any material you want without particular content restrictions. You can easily enjoy internet connection without any risks of being hacked by using Private Internet Access VPN.

Control the information that can be accessed by government any other unwanted party and surf online without being spied on. Even if you are not involved in illegal activities or trust your selection of services, platforms, be suspicious for your own security and take precautionary measures by using the VPN service.

Backup files for the later use, in case of the malware attack

Computer users can suffer from data losses due to cyber infections or their own faulty doings. Ransomware can encrypt and hold files hostage, while unforeseen power cuts might cause a loss of important documents. If you have proper up-to-date backups, you can easily recover after such an incident and get back to work. It is also equally important to update backups on a regular basis so that the newest information remains intact – you can set this process to be performed automatically.

When you have the previous version of every important document or project you can avoid frustration and breakdowns. It comes in handy when malware strikes out of nowhere. Use Data Recovery Pro for the data restoration process.
