What is Wishapp and what is it doing on my Mac?
Although Mac computers are known for their fast performance, it seems that this adware application can slow them down significantly. It uses the Internet connection to communicate with its ad server, from where it loads Wishapp ads to display. These ads might appear on user’s screen in pop-up windows, show up on random websites as banners or in-text links, full-screen ads. Every time when such ads show up, the user needs to close it to make it disappear. However, this is not going to fix the problem – the intended ads might start to appear more and more frequently every day. If the user wants to stop them, he needs to clean the computer from adware that has infiltrated into the computer system. To remove Wishapp, use anti-malware application, for instance, Malwarebytes or ReimageIntego.
