I can't open task manager to kill the processes. It says "Application cannot be executed. The file is infected. Please activate your antivirus software." any suggestions?

I have the same problem as the person below. I cant open task manager and i cant get to regedit either. I deleted the Advanced Virus file but i still get the popup n "Click here to protect...."

we do not have a virus i believe but ADVANCED VIRUS REMOVER is telling us that there are bad threats... so i do try spydoctor now after my boyfriend almost trashed the laptop yesterday night cause he couldn't do s***. I will report when I am done, wish me luck..

hey! When my desktop turned blue, I hard-restarted my pc and entered safe mode and did a system restore...did I delete the trojan or is it still buried inside my pc?

my grandma thought i had a virus so she downloaded this and now im having to go through all kinda stuff to fix it! dont download this crap!!!!!!! nor let your grandma use your computer!

FML. It doesn't let me do anything! It changed my background to and ugly green with a black rectangle that says I have viruses. It also says that I can't open up task manager because my admin won't let me when I am the only account on the laptop. And it doesn't let me do ANYTHING.

I didn't purchase it but after about 30 mins of continueing to use my comp it shut off, not it won't turn back on. Does anyone know what to do?

Turn your PC off. then turn it on and press F8 select Safe mode. From here you are able to run programs like Malewarebytes and Trojan Remover. This should allow you to clean up your PC

Download Malwarebytes Anti-Virus, get key code on youtube,Install enter key code then run scan, it'll take it off.
