Every time I open Internet Explorer I get the tab Certified-Toolbar Search. How can I remove it
as I am unable to follow your instructions for removal as in Add or Remove Programs Certified Toolbar is not listed or remove Search.certified-toolbar.com from my browser as it not listed.
I am using Internet Explorer 8 & Windows 7 Home Premium. Please help me

Sorry about this annoying program, which has already managed to initiate various problems for many PC users..However, you CAN uninstall it, try using these steps:

1. Open your IE and go to Tools -> Manage Add-ons -> Toolbars and Extensions. Remove Certified Toolbar. Note that you may find more than one add-on installed, so remove all of them!
2. Choose Search Providers -> Live Search search engine -> Set as default. Additionally, remove Web Search web search provider and close the window.
3. Finally, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> General tab -> Use default button (you can also enter your own website, such as google.com instead of search.certified-toolbar.com. Click OK to save the changes.

Thanks for your advice but it did not appear in Tools - Manage Addon's not did it appear in Add Or Remove Programs either. I don't know what has happened but by accident I have just used the 64bit of ie8 and Certified-Tool bar was not there anymore. I have since gone back to the32bit ie8 and it has gone from there as well! Thinks why? The main thing is a has gone but how do I prevent it happening again?
