I do not believe that Constant Fun ads are powered by the websites that I visit. There must be a malicious application that is lurking on my system and sending these fake ads. I call them fake, because when I click on them, I get redirected to suspicious web sources that do not seem to be reliable! They frequently offer me to install free programs, but I believe I will infect my computer if i agree to install them. What should I do to stop Constant Fun ads? I want to secure my computer.

You are right - Constant Fun ads are not powered by the websites that you visit. They are powered by an adware program, called Constant Fun. This doubtful software is labeled as a potentially unwanted program (PUP). Such classification is made because of a few reasons.
First of all, Constant Fun collects information about the victim's activity on the Internet. Then it selects targeted advertisements from its server, based on the gathered information. Therefore, the victim receives targeted and very catchy ads, which might convince him/her to click on them. However, you should keep in mind that Constant Fun is a sponsored program, and it seeks to generate web traffic to the websites that belong to these sponsors. However, some of these websites can be infectious and might cause harm to you system. That is why we advise to NOT click on ads by Constant Fun. We strongly recommend to remove it as soon as possible. To find out how you can do that, please read this report: Constant Fun ads. (Instructions how to remove Constant Fun adware).
