Constant Fun is yet another adware-type tool that generates pop-up ads
Constant Fun is an ad-supported program, which is highly suspicious. If you have spotted “Constant Fun ads,” “Constant Fun deals,” “powered by Constant Fun” or “Constant Fun ads” pop-ups on your screen, we recommend reading this article to learn what has happened to your computer. There are so many potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) created nowadays, but the greater number of computer users still do not know how to protect their computers from them.
Adware-type programs are presented as beneficial tools. Various promotional ads for this PUP states that it is an advantageous program that can help to enhance your browsing experience. However, we have analyzed this program and could not find a single advantageous feature of it. This program brings only interferences.
| Name | Constant Fun ads |
|---|---|
| Type | Adware |
| Issues | The program redirects online traffic to various commercial pages |
| Distribution | PUPs like this get distributed via freeware installations when software bundling is used |
| Removal | Try to run an anti-malware tool and remove the program properly |
| Repair | You might want to run an application like FortectIntego to find and possibly fix issues with damaged files or functions on the system |
The first thing we have noticed is that this program slows down the computer system. Therefore, it does not enhance the browsing experience at all. Vice versa – it delivers numerous ads pretending that they are generated by the websites you visit. However, you can recognize that these ads are fake by the text on them – you should see the Constant Fun app name on them.
We strongly urge you not to click on these ads.
It is a known fact that these ads display interesting content because they track the victim’s browsing activity via the extension that Constant Fun installs on your Internet browsers. This rogue software monitors your browsing history, downloads, and even search queries.
Based on such information, the PUP selects and delivers particular ads for you. You should not believe that the content these ads display is realistic at any point – these ads are created to look attractive, but they only seek to force you to click on them.

Constant Fun ads usually contain suspicious hyperlinks that can end you up on suspicious third-party websites, which usually promote questionable apps. Even if you receive an offer to install free programs, which might look beneficial at the first sight, bypass such offers and do not agree to install software from unfamiliar websites. You can never know if these websites promote secure programs, so there is always a possibility to end up with infectious software on your PC.
If you are a security-minded PC user, we strongly advise you to install a reliable spyware removal tool, for instance, SpyHunterCombo Cleaner or MalwarebytesMalwarebytes. Such a program can deeply scan your system and search for spyware and malware. If it detects any computer threats, it can remove them immediately. You can also easily remove the app with such a program.
However, even after successful Constant Fun removal, your computer may run slower or even crash. We recommend repairing the system with FortectIntego or any other reliable tool.
You will avoid adware in the future if you remember a few facts
This particular tool is spyware, and spyware is mostly spread via the bundling method. This distribution technique makes it easier to spread PUPs and other critical programs seamlessly. It helps to attach optional apps to freeware and present it as an ‘optional download.’
The underlying cause of installing PUPs without realizing it is that computer users tend to install programs in a hurry. Most of them just click the “Next” button until the last setup stage and then finishes the installation process in a rush. You should not rush to use your new program like this – you must install it carefully if you do not want to end up with several unexpected apps on your system.
To avoid installing software attachments, you should follow these steps:
- Pay attention to every installation step.
- Do not forget to read the Terms of Use form.
- Opt-out the Default/Standard installation option.
- Instead, select Advanced or Custom one.
- Deselect the agreements to install optional downloads.
So that is it! It is really easy to make sure you install only one program without any shady apps alongside it. However, if your computer is already infected with adware, we recommend you to remove it. To find out how to do it, please read the information on the next page.
