Hello, I am concerned about my computer security! I have noticed strange activities being performed on my computer. I notice new applications on my computer, also strange toolbars appearing on the Mozilla Firefox browser. What is going on? I have noticed a strange Wprotectmanager.exe process running in the WTM, and it seems like it is a huge file. But I do not remember installing such program – why? What is it?

You are talking about WPM virus. This program is a useless computer parasite, which delivers WPM ads and also manages arbitrary downloads to your computer. If you have noticed Wprotectmanager.exe running on your Windows Task Manager, it means that WPM adware has already affected your computer and that you need to remove it ASAP. If you delay the WPM removal, you can expect to receive even more potentially unwanted programs and encounter various interferences during your browsing sessions, accompanied by computer slowdowns or even crashes. We strongly recommend to install FortectIntego and check your system by scanning it. This anti-malware application can find and terminate various critical processes and applications on your computer. An alternative way is to remove WPM virus manually - but this method takes more time, plus, you may not detect potentially unwanted apps that possibly were installed by WPM.
