This evening on my Windows 11 laptop I got a message in my browser saying my payment info had been “verified” and I should review a failed delivery charge. It looked almost normal, but the sender address and the timing felt off, so I closed it and checked my account directly. Has anyone else seen these fake payment notices lately?

That is worrying, especially if they’re using browser cache pre-fetching to make the first signs less obvious. It looked official enough that I almost clicked, but I closed it and checked Task Manager instead. Has anyone else seen these fake warnings lately, and what do you do first?
This morning on my Windows 11 laptop I got a very convincing email saying my cloud storage had a problem and I needed to sign in right away. The wording looked official, but the sender address felt off and the link preview did not match. I deleted it and changed my password just in case. Have any of you had a similar scam recently?
