What is BrowsePlus?
BrowsePlus is an advertising application which works on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and also Internet Explorer. As soon as it is installed on your computer (in most cases it is installed without a permission asked), you will notice various pop-ups and advertisements on the internet pages you go to. Why exactly Browse Plus adware does that? The application description states that it provides such information for giving you more info about the specific products that you are interested in and sites that sell them for the lowest price possible. It also promises to save your shopping time and improve your shopping experience. However, you should definitely ask what are the drawbacks of this program. It seems that the most obvious of them are continuous pop-up ads that are displayed as soon as you start browsing on the Internet. As many other adware-type programs, Browse Plus may fill your browsing experience with ads, banner ads, in-text links and similar content which may slow down your browser. Be aware that you should never click on these messages because they may redirect you to really questionable websites seeking to trick you into downloading potentially unwanted programs and even harmful viruses on your computer. The problem is, it is quite challenging to detect where this PUP is located, so if it has infiltrated your computer without your approval, we suggest you to download FortectIntego. This program will easily detect and eliminate unwanted and risky extensions, add-ons and adware from your machine.

How can BrowsePlus hijack my computer?
As usual, BrowsePlus is mostly spread in a bundle with freeware and shareware that you download off the Internet. You can download this program as an optional component because the most of the developers of the freeware do not think that such software as browser plugins, add-ons, extensions, toolbars and similar components are malicious. Usually additional plugins and add-ons are hidden in the settings of installation and people are not clearly warned about their installation. If you wish to prevent your computer from extra viruses, make sure you don’t rush and don’t skip any installation steps, especially installation settings. Make sure you choose „Custom“ or „Advanced“ installation method instead of „Default“ or „Standard“. Also, uncheck all suspicious boxes with suggestions to install additional plug-ins, browser extensions, etc. This way you will stop malicious software and it will not hijack your computer. If it’s too late and you have already installed Browse Plus Ads on your computer, read the instructions below.
