RadioRage Toolbar - 2021 update

RadioRage Toolbar Removal Guide

What is RadioRage Toolbar?

RadioRage Toolbar – a potentially unwanted program spread along with Ask toolbar

RadioRage

RadioRage Toolbar is a potentially unwanted program, which is mostly presented as a must-have tool for any music fan. However, after installing it on your computer, you may find out that it is a tricky application, an annoying toolbar, which has more purposes than to serve the users.

According to PC security experts, this program shouldn't be called a virus. Nevertheless, you should consider that it may cause unwanted redirects to home.tb.ask.com, ask.com, and other websites.

Additionally, you may start seeing an increased amount of annoying pop-up ads or may notice that your web browser is slower than it was before RadioRage installation. Of course, all these issues are initiated on each of the web browsers that are installed on the system, including:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • MS Edge
  • Internet Explorer, etc.

RadioRage Toolbar is programmed to set Ask Search, which helps to promote the websites of the sponsors and increase the number of their visitors. If your search sessions have already been interrupted by commercial pop-up ads, redirects, slowdowns, and other unwanted things, you should remember two things.

First of all, you should stay away from websites that are promoted using such questionable techniques because, as the developer of this toolbar warns:

You hereby acknowledge and agree that by using an MS Product you may be exposed to Content that may be offensive, indecent or objectionable in your community […]

It means that some of the sponsored links may hide doubtful or even unsafe content. Secondly, you should remove RadioRage Toolbar from your computer if you are unwilling to disclose personally non-identifiable information to third parties. To find out how this toolbar can be removed, find the RadioRage Toolbar removal guide on the next page below.

Potentially unwanted programs are rarely installed intentionally

RadioRage is a browser add-on, which is spread using either legitimate or suspicious distribution techniques. However, this toolbar is most frequently spread using 'bundling.' Yes, you can download this toolbar from its official website or other sites that are used for promoting various programs.

Nevertheless, you should also remember that this application may also show up on your computer after downloading third-party software, such as various download managers, pdf creators, video streaming software, and similar programs that have been involved in its distribution.

Here, this program is presented as an optional component that can be avoided only if you monitor the installation of the freeware. That's why we highly recommend selecting the Custom or Advanced installation option when downloading freeware from the system. Also, you should check every installation window and uncheck checkboxes that offer you various downloads or conditions.

If RadioRage Toolbar has already infiltrated your machine, you shouldn't waste your time dealing with it because, as we have already mentioned, you may be tricked into visiting unknown websites that may be filled with tricky content. For avoiding that, please read the following guide that is given below and remove RadioRage Toolbar from your computer.

Recently, the developer of this program contacted us asking us to remove this post from the 2-spyware.com website. We believe that we shouldn't do that as long as our instructions help users to remove RadioRage Toolbar from their systems if they desire to do so.

Nevertheless, we have recently decided to make a revision of this and other posts that are related to this developer. We claim that all of them are described properly.

How to prevent from getting adware

Choose a proper web browser and improve your safety with a VPN tool

Online spying has got momentum in recent years and people are getting more and more interested in how to protect their privacy online. One of the basic means to add a layer of security – choose the most private and secure web browser. Although web browsers can't grant full privacy protection and security, some of them are much better at sandboxing, HTTPS upgrading, active content blocking, tracking blocking, phishing protection, and similar privacy-oriented features. However, if you want true anonymity, we suggest you employ a powerful Private Internet Access VPN – it can encrypt all the traffic that comes and goes out of your computer, preventing tracking completely.

Lost your files? Use data recovery software

While some files located on any computer are replaceable or useless, others can be extremely valuable. Family photos, work documents, school projects – these are types of files that we don't want to lose. Unfortunately, there are many ways how unexpected data loss can occur: power cuts, Blue Screen of Death errors, hardware failures, crypto-malware attack, or even accidental deletion.

To ensure that all the files remain intact, you should prepare regular data backups. You can choose cloud-based or physical copies you could restore from later in case of a disaster. If your backups were lost as well or you never bothered to prepare any, Data Recovery Pro can be your only hope to retrieve your invaluable files.
