What the hell is Research Soft? I have no idea when did I install this virus on my computer, but it keeps saying that windows update failed and that I need to call tech support at 1-800-418-4202. How can I remove research soft and keep using my computer just like I used to?

Research Soft is a malicious program that spreads as a Trojan horse.
