Hi Tweek. Welcome to the 2-Spyware.com forums!

Please follow these steps:

1. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:
O2 - BHO: Need2Find Bar BHO - {4D1C4E81-A32A-416b-BCDB-33B3EF3617D3} - C:\Program Files\Need2Find\bar\1.bin\ND2FNBAR.DLL (file missing)
O8 - Extra context menu item: &Search - http:/ /kl.bar.need2find.com/KL/menusearch.html?p=KL
O18 - Filter: text/html - (no CLSID) - (no file)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: WRNotifier - WRLogonNTF.dll (file missing)

2. Open the Control Panel, double-click on the Network Connectios icon and launch the Local Area Connection tool. Click Properties. Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) entry. Select the Obtain DNS server automatically option or enter addresses of your Internet service provider's default DNS servers manually. Apply changes.

3. After you get done, restart your computer, run new HijackThis scan and post a fresh log here.

Aha! Success!

When I tried to obtain an IP address automatically however, it wouldn't connect to any sites (despite the fact that the network was acutally connected to the internet). I went back to my original DNS and IP address settings and it worked, Jupk free, so it must have been one of the HijackThis entries.

Thanks.

Hi Tweek.

I don't think so. Jupk.com seems to be a very sophisticated new threat, nobody knows which components does it use. The registry entries you've deleted are not associated with the parasite.

Please download the FixWareout tool. Install and run it. Restart your computer if the tool asks to. This might remove possible infection remnants.
