this is always a red icon thing saying i havea trojan in my computer, but i can't don't. ii think this is spyware strike, i tried useing everything to get that thing off my computer but it did't work please help me fast!!!!!! |

Please follow these steps:
1. Download Pocket KillBox or KillBox utility.
2. Uninstall the ContraVirus program. It's a known rogue!
3. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:
O1 - Hosts: 80.69.94.166 gameguard.mapleglobal.com
O1 - Hosts: 80.69.94.166 63.251.217.184
O3 - Toolbar: Ad-Protect Toolbar - {EA038DDD-0FE0-41f5-BA60-FC3660529E71} - C:\Program Files\ContraVirus\ToolBand.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows Updater Servc] C:\WINDOWS\system32\xpuupdate.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ContraVirus] C:\Program Files\ContraVirus\ContraVirusPro.exe /s
O9 - Extra button: 简单游官方网站 - {CE164F14-75B5-46be-AE02-CD5CACC8352D} - http:/ /act.jdyou.com/zmjdyou3.html (file missing)
4. Now use either Pocket KillBox or KillBox to delete the following file:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\xpuupdate.exe
Also, delete the folder C:\Program Files\ContraVirus
5. After you get done, restart your computer, run new HijackThis scan and post a fresh log here. |
