Even though the scanner says nothing is int the log file, I get constant virus scan messages detected as Vundo - one that appears in the list often is func.exe, other s listed and many more under the directory Local Settings\Temorary Files\Content.IE5\

Hi third_try. Welcome to 2-spyware.com Forums!

1. Use HijacThis on the following entries:
O23 - Service: Remote Packet Capture Protocol v.0 (experimental) (rpcapd) - Unknown owner - %ProgramFiles%\WinPcap\rpcapd.exe" -d -f "%ProgramFiles%\WinPcap\rpcapd.ini (file missing)

Your log doesn't reveal any signs of infection.

Download the free version of SUPERAntiSpyware. Install the program, update its definitions and run a complete system scan.
