its recently come up and im afraid it will do serious damage to my pc.
it is not opened singualy but there are many versions all opened at once, about 12-20 iexplore.exe.
at first i thought it was many internet pages, but when i open the internet pages it is IEXPLORE.EXE.
i do not know how to remove it as ad-aware does not reconise it or is insufficiant at removing it.

Hello. Welcome to 2-Spyware.com forums!

jon and leesa, you may have a spyware or virus infection. Please use a powerful legitimate anti-spyware program (I recommend Spyware Doctor, Microsoft AntiSpyware and Spy Sweeper) and reliable antivirus to scan your system for parasites and remove them. As you should know, the iexplore.exe file as well as the same named process can be related to both Microsoft Internet Explorer and some malware.

Simply rebooting the system will not remove the infection. You have to delete the file, which runs the malicious process and all the components related to certain parasites your system might be infected with.

i found the problem file, it was a imitation winlogon.exe. when ever iexplore.exe was open this was. i have deleted this file and i have not had any problems. would rebooting my pc now, be able to sort out all the errors it had caused, for example my games do not run correctly, and my authority over sortware has somehow been turned down.

Although I don't think that rebooting a computer will solve all your problems, it may help eliminating some instability issues. You should fight the cause of your troubles, not the consequences.
