Infected with Obfustat.AAK Virus/Trojan

Trying to fix dad's computer. Windows XP SP2 running AVG Free Anti-Virus program (only one anti-virus program on computer), spybot, ad-aware and windows defender spyware programs. Trojan identified as Obfustat.AAK keeps coming up. Try to heal and it says it's healed but then keeps coming back as virus alerts. Can't seem to get rid of this. Lots of pop up windows of porn sites and other annoying sites come up so fast I can't delete them fast enough. Home page changes and many other things.

Not much info on net about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated ridding my dad's computer of this trojan/virus.

hello there Wink

try to start your computer in a safe mode. you find instruction how to do that HERE. and then run an anti-spyware scan. you probably couldn't remove whole parasite because some files were running at that moment. and in a safe mode most of computer parasites are inactive, so you will be able to delete them. good luck! feel free to post if anything suspicious is left after scan Wink
