Post Post subject: My Hijack Log Reply with quote

Hi, I tried to uninstall AntiVirgear as it was popping up a message saying my computer was infected with something and I had to pay for a full version to clean it. However, after uninstalling, I still got the pop up message and if I clicked it would bring me to the website. It would be appreciated if someone would assist in helping me remove this program totally from my system. I'll then install one of the recommended antispyware software from your site. I've enclosed my Hijack log below:

Hi Saigon75. Welcome to the 2-Spyware.com forums!

Please follow these steps:

1. Download Pocket KillBox or KillBox utility.

2.Please use Hijackthis on the following entries:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [YAMAHA AC-XG Power Utility] yacpower.exe
O22 - SharedTaskScheduler: celtiberi - {7999c5e2-b500-4ba5-8e9a-99639eca65fc}

In Safe Mode!
3.Then use either Pocket KillBox or KillBox to delete the following file:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\yacpower.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mxhfjy.dll

4.Download Smitrem. While in Safe mode, extract smitrem, then run RunThis, let the program do it's work, after it's done restart it normally.

5.Download the free version of SUPERAntiSpyware. Install the program, update its definitions and run a complete system scan.

6. After you get done, restart your computer, run new HijackThis scan and post a fresh log here.
