Post Post subject: My HijackThis log Reply with quote

Hello, visitor!

The Hijack This log analyzer has analyzed your log. Please take a closer look on the results.

Your system seems to be infected with malicious parasites. Please follow the steps below in order to eliminate the infection and clean up your computer.

1. Download the Pocket KillBox utility. You will need it later to delete parasite-related files and folders.
2. Use HijackThis to fix the following entries:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ColdWare] C:\Windows\msa.exe
O13 - Gopher Prefix:
O23 - Service: Intel(R) Alert Service (AlertService) - Intel(R) Corporation - C:\Program Files\Intel\IntelDH\CCU\AlertService.exe
O23 - Service: Intel(R) DHTrace Controller (DHTRACE) - Intel(R) Corporation - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\IntelDH\bin\DHTraceController.exe
O23 - Service: Intel(R) Software Services Manager (ISSM) - Intel(R) Corporation - C:\Program Files\Intel\IntelDH\Intel Media Server\Media Server\bin\ISSM.exe
O23 - Service: Intel(R) Viiv(TM) Media Server (M1 Server) - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\Intel\IntelDH\Intel Media Server\Media Server\bin\mediaserver.exe
O23 - Service: Intel(R) Application Tracker (MCLServiceATL) - Intel(R) Corporation - C:\Program Files\Intel\IntelDH\Intel Media Server\Shells\MCLServiceATL.exe
O23 - Service: Intel(R) NMSCore (NMSCore) - Intel(R) Corporation - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\IntelDH\NMS\NMSCore\NMSCore.exe
O23 - Service: Intel(R) Quality Manager (QualityManager) - Intel(R) Corporation - C:\Program Files\Intel\IntelDH\Intel Media Server\Media Server\bin\qualitymanager.exe
O23 - Service: Intel(R) Remoting Service (Remote UI Service) - Intel(R) Corporation - C:\Program Files\Intel\IntelDH\Intel Media Server\Shells\Remote UI Service.exe

3. The following entries are not malicious, but some of them are not used anymore. You may use HijackThis to fix a few of them. However, please keep in mind that some of the entries marked as Questionable or Not Needed are fully legitimate and might be required by installed software to work properly, while some others might be related to certain parasites. It is up to you to decide whether you need any of them, or not.

C:\Program Files\Intel\IntelDH\CCU\AlertService.exe

After going through all the steps, run another HijackThis scan and post a fresh log to the HijackThis analyzer. It is possible that some parasites your system was infected with were not removed completely and may restore themselves later.

Thank you for using the 2-Spyware.com HijackThis log analyzer!

Hello,

what I've noticed from the log:
- trojan Troj/Hanlo-A
- rogue anti-spyware called MS Antivirus

Download remover for MS Antivirus 2008: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-ms-antivirus-2008.html. It should be able to remove these parasites from your computer.
Alternatively, you may remove it manually.

Files to delete:
c:\Program Files\MSA
c:\Program Files\MSA\MSA.cpl
c:\Program Files\MSA\MSA.exe
c:\Program Files\MSA\msa0.dat
c:\Program Files\MSA\msa1.dat
c:\WINDOWS\system32\MSA.cpl
%UserProfile%\Desktop\MSAntivirus.lnk

Remove these registry entries:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AntiVirus
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MSA
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Antivirus"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Antivirus"

Good luck!
