PayPal e-mails. Genuine or not?

Post Post subject: PayPal e-mails. Genuine or not? Reply with quote
Yesterday got few e-mails from PayPal, the online money service, asking me to update my account info and password. They look genuine, but I'm aware of all that spam and mass-mailing viruses and therefore do not trust them. Do you know anything about these mails? thnx

I am absolutely sure that e-mails you've received are fake! Lots of malicious persons distribute them for phishing purposes. They want to get your PayPal account details and password and then use them to take over your account and steal your money! Do NOT trust them. Never reply to these mails and never do what they ask you to do! Reputable services like PayPal would never send you mails asking to update account info and password.
