AVG has picked this up as a virus. I cant remove it to the vault as it says it it embedded. How do i find out if i need this program and where do i go to get rid of it?

The pskill.exe file can be related to certain parasites. However, it can also be the Sysinternals legitimate utility used to kill processes. In both cases this file is not a system component, so it is recommended and safe to delete pskill.exe. It sounds like it actually belongs to a threat.

If you need that Sysinternals tool, you may download and use it later. However, I doubt you knew about it - so delete the file! To do this do not put it into the AVG vault, but simply manually delete it or use AVG to remove it. You also need to download HijackThis, perform a scan and post your log into the appropriate forum section. Your system might be infected.
