Hello, I have found some information about Adf.ly ads – I discovered some comments on online forums that say Adf.ly ads are infectious. Is this true? I was thinking about using Adf.ly for URL shortening, but now I think that it might be a bad idea. What can you say?

We have also noticed some complaints regarding Adf.ly ads, and we decided to take a closer look at them. It seems that Adf.ly URL-shrinking service is not the most reliable one in the world. If you clicked on a shortened URL that starts with Adf.ly, you would be redirected to an Adf.ly site that provides an advertisement. You can either click on the ad or proceed to the final website by skipping the ad. It seems that Adf.ly ads are dangerous and might directly connect you with a malicious domain that hosts a certain virus variant. Think about people that you are going to share your shortened URLs with - you do not want them to infect their PCs via links that you shared accidentally, so better avoid Adf.ly service.
